The LXP-16 Immersive Cinema Processor combines 9.4.6-channel processing, balanced architecture, advanced SHARC DSP, ESS Hyperstream DACs, HDMI 2.1, and the complete Dirac Live suite in one high-performance platform. It supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, 8K/60Hz, 4K/120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and more. Built-in Emersa™ streaming and the Emotiva Emersa Control app make it equally capable for movies, music, and everyday listening.
The LXP-16 Immersive Cinema Processor sets a new standard for processing capability, ease of use, and performance. With 9.4.6 channels of reference quality audio, it provides a powerful foundation for a stunning home theater experience. Using a balanced internal architecture with advanced ADI Sharc DSP decoding and signal processing along with ESS Hyperstream DAC’s, the LXP-16 is capable of reference quality playback.
Support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Pro handles today’s major surround and immersive audio formats with ease. HDMI 2.1 video connectivity supports 8K/60Hz, 4K/120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, VRR, ALLM, and more. A fully licensed and included Dirac Live Room Correction, Dirac Live Bass Control, and Dirac Active Room Treatment software suite provides a complete set of tools optimizing acoustic performance.
When the movie ends, the LXP-16 is just as comfortable at the center of a music system. The Emersa™ streaming engine supports TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, DLNA, and Bluetooth, while the Emotiva Emersa Control app keeps everyday operation and music access close at hand.

Dirac Live Room Correction, Dirac Live Bass Control, and Dirac Active Room Treatment are included with the LXP-16, along with a calibrated microphone ($1,000 value). 8K HDMI 2.1 Passthrough
Two HDMI 2.1 outputs support 8K video and Dolby Vision. Video passes through to your display without resampling or rescaling, keeping the processor focused on sound while your display handles the picture.
Emersa™ Streaming Engine
Music listening does not require a second device as the internal Emersa™™™ streaming engine supports TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, DLNA, Google Cast, Bluetooth, and USB playback.
